A Canadian, who has been lost in Japan for the last eight years, Trevor has busy days, which leave him time only for shooting at night. His night shots have led to him being featured in the light-painting documentary Luminary and on Japanese television. He exhibits his works at various galleries in Japan. 

Light painting is an art technique that combines conceptual thinking and long exposure photography, usually at night or in a darkened room. It is created by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera. More often than not the person carrying the light source will not appear in the final photograph. It can quickly become crude or banal, but in the hands of an expert, real art can be generated. An excellent example is the work of Trevor Williams, especially where he combines his ultra-modern, almost sci-fi geometric light scapes with classic oriental buildings.

Sitting in class for hours on end can become monotonous. But one student has come up with the coolest way to combat school-day boredom. Jody Steel, a 19-year-old college student at Emerson College in Boston, uses her leg as a canvas during class to sketch some pretty awesome and lifelike drawings. Check out some of Jody's pieces. There's one of Walter White, the main character in "Breaking Bad"; Radiohead singer Thom Yorke; actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt; the character Freddy Krueger from "A Nightmare on Elm Street"; "Game of Thrones" character Daenerys Targaryen; a sketch that looks like what is exposed by skin ripped open; and an elephant portrait.

Jody's leggy pieces of art caught the attention of the Web after she posted them to Imgur.com. So far, they have had more than 500,000 views. Each drawing takes about 45 to 60 minutes to complete -that's about the same amount of time it would take to ignore a lecture in Philosophy class. But Jody says she's an A student and has already been approached by companies around the world to design their logos. And if you can't get enough of her work, she shows some more leg, as well as drawings on more conventional surfaces, on her website, JodySteel.com.

Cruz  first  achieved  fame  in  a Spanish  pop  video  and  then  as  a  TV presenter.  Her  first  major  films  were  ‘Jamón,  Jamón’ and  ‘Belle Époque’,  which  won  an Academy  Award  for  Best  Foreign  Language Film. In 2000 she appeared with Matt Damon in ‘All the Pretty Horses’. She rose to fame by co-starring in ‘Vanilla Sky’, opposite Tom Cruise.  Cruz has received two Goya Awards and two European Film Awards for her  work.  She  also  won  a  Best  Actress  award at  the  Cannes  Film Festival.  In 2006,  she  was  used  as  the  face  for  L’Oreal’s  worldwide advertising campaign and a year later, she  launched her own  fashion line  in  Spain.  She  wants  to  balance  her  life and  work between Hollywood and Europe.
