High blood pressure is experienced by nearly million adults all over the world. Often accompanied by excess weight, high blood pressure is a major risk factor for stroke, congestive heart failure, kidney disease, and the leading killer heart disease. If you are someone who has high blood pressure, the mainstream medical industry wants nothing more than your eternal business, buying their pharmaceutical drugs that never really cure anything. But instead of doing that, try utilizing one of these natural solutions. 

1. Drink Coconut Water to Combat High Blood Pressure 
Coconut water is a tasty and nutritious beverage which has also been shown to be effective at lowering blood pressure. In one study where authors investigated the effects of coconut water when regularly consumed, they found that coconut water was able to significantly lower blood pressure in 71 percent of the study participants. This refreshing beverage has also been shown to rise above sports drinks in hydration while causing not nearly as many stomach pains.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar 
Effectively helping thousands of health ailments such as  strep throat  and  acid reflux, apple cider vinegar is also a fantastic solution for high blood pressure. Just a few tablespoons a day for one month could have a dramatic impact. I have seen people’s blood pressure go from 150/80 to 130/80 in just a month while taking 2 tablespoons of ACV a day. Many others have experienced the same scenario, and blood pressure medications are often chucked. It could help you too.

3. Vitamin D 
Research  points out that  vitamin D  can be an effective solution to  lower blood pressure, promote vascular health by helping blood vessels, and contribute to healthy arteries. While helping to lower blood pressure, this powerful cancer fighter can also protect you from the flu 800% better than any flu vaccine.

4. Aloe Vera, Hibiscus Tea, Cayenne Pepper 
Aloe, cayenne pepper, honey, and tea are all fabulous for helping with a whole host of health problems. Not surprisingly, some individuals have also found this combination to effectively lower blood pressure.

5. Lifestyle
In addition to all of these solutions, living an overall healthy lifestyle with some exercise will also help greatly. This means avoiding fructose, which has been shown to up the risk of having blood pressure levels of  160/100 mm Hg by 77 percent  with the consumption of 74 grams (2.5 sugary drinks).

6. Fiber Rich Diet
Having a diet that has a huge amount of fiber has been proven to be successful in preventing and treating many different cardiovascular diseases such as Hypertension. However, the effect of different dietary fibre varies. Water soluble gel-forming fibers have the best result in lowering high blood pressure.

7. Sugar Low Diet
The common sugar that we use for cooking increases our blood pressure. This common sugar is called sucrose. The actual mechanism to how sucrose does this is still not fully understood.

8. Instead, people should switch to a diet that is high in potassium (vegetables and fruits) and essential fatty acids. Seven grams of potassium should be ingested daily. The diet should be low in salt, sugar and saturated fat. On the whole, diets should have a big component of vegetables and members of the onion/garlic family.

9. Vegetarian Diet
People who follow a vegetarian diet tend to have both a lower level of blood pressure and lower occurrences of hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases. There vegetarian diet can be a diet that can control blood pressure. Therefore researchers have a hypotesis that it could be that a vegetarian diet contains a greater amount of complex carbohydrates, potassium, vitamin A, polyunsaturated fat, vitamin C, fiber, calcium and magnesium; all of them might have a positive impact on high blood pressure.

10. Low Sodium Level Diet
The key for Hypertension patients to note is that they must avoid foods that have high levels of salt and sodium. People who were not able to get high blood pressure medication in the past resorted to consume a very low salt-reduced, low-calorie "rice diet." Apparently, people were able to lower their blood pressure significantly just by avoiding salt. If you have Hypertension, you must avoid foods that contain huge amount of salt or are highly processed. Examples of such food include fast food, frozen pizza and preserved vegetables.

11. Lose Weight:
Hypertension diets are commonly used to lower high blood pressure. Foods enriched in nutrients, mainly calcium, potassium, magnesium, protein and fiber are recommended to lower it. Decreasing salt and sodium enhanced foods are typically included in all hypertension diets. The key to hypertension diets are foods low fat foods and lean meats, to stop additional weight gain and/or lose extra pounds, and eating grains, vegetables, fruits, and proteins to obtain the proper minerals and nutrients needed in one's daily diet.

12. Cut Back Alcohol:
Save some money at the bar! Decrease the amount of alcoholic beverages consumed daily, if a typical night out consists of 3 drinks, cut it in half, save some money, and naturally lower blood pressure. A healthy amount of alcohol varies based on medical conditions, but a healthy male should consume no more than two drinks per day (24 oz of beer, 10 oz of wine, 3 oz of heavier liquor) a healthy female should cut the male's intake in half.

13. Limit Caffeine:
Make a half of pot of coffee in the morning. Caffeine can raise blood pressure by tightening blood vessels and restricting blood flow to the body. If a typical coffee drinker drinks 2-4 cups per day, cut that amount in half or switch to a decaffeinated brand. Sodas and teas with high levels of caffeine have the same affect on the body. Caffeine also effects people's way of dealing with stress.

14. Reduce Stress:
Take a deep breath, relax, and shrug off what a happened during the rush hour traffic drive home. Learning to deal with stress and maintaining a way to deal with it is important to lower blood pressure naturally. People are put in stressful situations daily, learning how to respond and react to them is important in keeping a clear mind as well as a healthy blood pressure.

15. Start An Exercise Plan:
Exercise is important in everyone's life, more so in a person's life with hypertension. Lowering body fat and increasing blood circulation is critical in lowering blood pressure. This does not mean one needs to get a gym membership, but it does mean there should be some sort of daily physical activity in one's life that they follow and continue until it is back to normal ranges (as told by a doctor, not your own monitor).

We instantly send messages that speak more loudly than words, using body language or non-verbal communication. Body language communicates powerfully because we are visual creature. We take in much more information with our eyes than with our other senses.

Here are some tips on how to use body language to make a great impression in business, so you connect with your customers.

1. Posture:  People who exude class and confidence invariably have great posture. They stand and walk tall. Good posture makes a strong impression because people notice it from across the room. It involves the whole body, not just small muscles. To make a great impression, stand and walk tall.

2. Facial expression: We look at people’s faces to find out their moods. When your face and words don’t match, you send a mixed message. For credibility, make sure your facial expressions match your words.

3. Smile: The smile has a magical quality that is almost impossible to ignore. There is something inside us that responds instinctively to a sincere smile. Smile warmly, and you’ll make an instant connection.

4. Eye contact: Without eye contact, communication is almost impossible. Try talking to someone without looking at them. Do you feel any connection? When doing business with North Americans, aim to maintain eye contact about 60-70% of the time to maximize its positive impact. With people from other cultures, you may need more or less eye contact.

5. Hands: People notice other people’s hands, so what you do with your hands can betray your true feelings. Nervousness often shows in your hands through rubbing or wringing them together, or clasping and unclasping them. To appear calm and relaxed, avoid excessive fidgeting, or rapid, exaggerated gestures.

6. Open or closed posture: Body language can be described as Open or Closed. Open body language welcomes interaction. It involves facing people squarely, and making eye contact. Closed body language is used when people feel threatened or uncomfortable. They withdraw or hide their bodies by using various stances and physical shields for protection.

7. Mirroring: Good communicators naturally mirror people’s body language. It’s a way of getting in sync. We all use different tones of voice and language when communicating in business from when we talk to close friends or family members. You can easily tone down or ramp up your energy level, rate of speech, and voice tone to make the other person feel comfortable.

8. They place their hands in their chest. This signifies openness and conveys sincerity, honesty, or dedication. However, a woman putting her hands in her breast is a defensive position and may indicate that she is surprised or astonished.

9. They take their glasses off, after which they may either (1) clean them, or (2) put the tip of the frame in their mouth. They are buying themselves some time to think things over. A frame in the mouth would also likely indicate that they need more details and they are willing to listen.

10. They are pinching the bridge of the nose most likely with eyes closed. People doing this are engaged in very deep thought. They may be involved in a difficult situation, where they are aware of the consequences that may occur as a result of making crucial decisions.

11. They put a palm below the chin, index finger pointed and extended along the cheek, while other fingers placed beneath the mouth. This gesture more likely indicates thoughts that are criticizing or antagonizing other people.

12. They walk with the head down and hands behind the back. People who walk this way are probably worried about their problems, and they are thinking of ways to solve them.

13. When doing sales calls and presentations, be sure to use sincere and open movements all the time. Do not cross your arms, as this can ruin the trust of your potential customer. The outward and upward gestures of your hands are recommendable. If you lean back on a chair and place your hands at the back of your head, it may drive your clients away as this is a sure sign of arrogance and a false sense of confidence. Meanwhile, if you place your hands on your waists, you are exuding positive confidence.

14. "Don't point.” Pointing at a client is equivalent to death wish in selling. It is as if you’re waving your sales opportunity goodbye. Pointing is an aggressive act that can be interpreted as hostility, so throw this gesture out the window if you really want to sell.

15. In sales, here are signs that you are open for negotiations and are willing to compromise. Unbuttoning your jacket means you are ready to talk and to listen to a counter offer. Removing your jacket or rolling your sleeves up is a very good sign for the client, as this means you are ready to decide or to give in to the final price.

Everyone gets angry sometimes. Anger isn’t “good” or “bad.” You should not feel bad about feeling it. The key is to notice what you are really angry about and then find healthy ways to express it. Understanding your anger and using new ways to deal with problems and stress can make a big difference in your life.

Expressed appropriately, anger is a healthy emotion. However, many people handle anger by either suppressing it too much or expressing it in a hostile manner. If you grew up in a family where it wasn’t “nice” to get angry or where anger was used to control other family members, any sign of antagonism is likely to make you apprehensive. You may fear losing control if you get angry, so it becomes difficult to express anger constructively. This dangerous pattern can lead to such health problems as headaches, hypertension,
gastrointestinal issues, anxiety or depression. Expressing anger explosively is at the opposite end of the spectrum. Blowing up or blaming others is counter-productive in finding a solution to the problem.


1. Talk about how you feel. Say things clearly, calmly, and directly without attacking the other person with words or actions. Talk about how you feel about the situation. Use “I statements,” such as “I feel…” or “I think …” or “I want …” to describe your own reaction rather than blaming the person. It will help them understand what you need from them. People usually respond better when they hear you speak with a calm voice.

2. Name the problem. Explain why you are angry. Don’t yell, use insults, or make threats. If you use “I statements” and remain calm, you may be surprised at the way the other person responds.

3. Listen to the other person. Allow the other person to say what they want and to talk about their feelings and needs.

4. Talk about solutions. Say what you would like to change or what you want to see happen in the future. If you’re having a problem with another person, try to find a solution together.

5. Exercise. Walking, jogging, swimming, or bicycling are good and natural ways to reduce stress and anger. Exercise releases chemicals in the brain that will help you relax. Also, exercise usually takes you away from a stressful situation, gives you time to think, and helps you have more energy.

6. Be good to yourself. Get enough sleep each night and do not use drugs or alcohol to solve your problems. Find healthy ways to manage stress – perhaps watch a favorite movie, read a good book, or take a bubble bath or hot shower.

7. Get help if you need it. Talk with a trusted family member or friend. You may want to see a counselor or other health care professional.

8. Take a “time out.” Although it sounds simplistic, counting to ten or removing yourself from the room goes a long way toward restoring peace. Calm yourself by deep breathing and positive self-statements.  

9. Use relaxation techniques. Breathe deeply and rhythmically while relaxing your muscles, one group at a time, and visualizing a pleasant scene.

10. Repeat calming self-statements. Reiterate helpful phrases to yourself such as: “Stay calm,” “I am annoyed, but I can handle this,” or “I do not have to let this bother me.”

11. Get some aerobic exercise. Go for a quick walk or bike ride. Shoot baskets or lift weights.

12. Use humor to release tension. Think of a funny joke or story. Imagine yourself or the person you are angry with in a silly situation.

13. Keep an anger log. Identify the kinds of situations that trigger anger and record your reactions.

14. Talk with a sympathetic friend, spouse, health care provider or therapist. Being able to share your frustrations can help to defuse anger. Actually saying, “I am furious” or “I’m so mad I could…..” will help. Don’t expect your listener to solve the problem, but consider yourself lucky to have someone who lets you vent.

15. Forgive the other person. Recognize that it’s unrealistic to expect everyone to behave exactly as you wish. Visualize releasing the anger and feeling calm.

Taking care of your laptop is one of the most important things you should know. You would want to take advantage of its full life, don’t you? It might have cost you quite a bit out of your pocket so it is just proper that you’d do everything to take care of it and maintain its good health. Here’s what every laptop owners should do to protect and extend its life. 
1. Do not eat and drink while you’re in front of your laptop. Spilled liquids and fallen food crumbs and bits can easily damage the sensitive circuitry inside.

2. Do not touch the LCD screen. Close the lid gently by holding it with both hands when shutting it off. This is to avoid breaking it. It is also important to clean your monitor with approved cleaning materials only. Screen repairs don't come in real cheap so you may want to make sure the monitor is taken cared of properly.

3. Keep its temperature cooler by installing a laptop cooler or chill mat to reduce its operating temperature.

4. A laptop’s battery is like human muscles - if you don’t exercise it, it’d become useless. Use your laptop's battery until it tells you to recharge. At least once a week unplug it from the wall and let it run on battery power. This will make the battery life lasts much longer.

5. Do not let it run for straight two days, even on powerful laptops. Laptops can get very hot and leaving it on for a longer period of time may cause overheating. It is advisable to install software that automatically puts your laptop in a sleep or hibernate mode or even shut it down after a period of inactivity.

6. If you need to move and take your laptop more than a few feet away, shut it down or put it to sleep
before moving on. Do not walk with your laptop on because you are risking the hard drive with every stumble, stump, or jar you make.

7. Don't close anything inside your laptop. There is a little clearance between the screen and the keyboard and even a couple sheets of paper can put stress onto the screen. Also, avoid putting heavy objects on top of your laptop. These careless actions can damage and break the screen.

8. Always use the laptop carrying bag given by the company gave you to reduce the risk of breaks because of laptop being bumped to or dropped accidentally.

9. Cover your laptop, and also your keyboard, when you’re not using it, e.g. with a simple cloth, to protect it from dust, especially in dry and dusty areas.  However don’t forget to turn of the power first!  You can clean the keyboard from time to time with a little airpump.

10. Finally guard its health by using antivirus software and firewall.  Keep the installed antivirus updated. Your internet-connected laptop is always at risk of being infected with viruses, so you may want to take the necessary precautions. Data loss because of viruses can give you headaches.

11. Treat the laptop like you would your wallet. Don’t leave it lying around. Avoid leaving it in the car, or if you must, lock it in the boot.

12. Be sure nothing is stacked or thrown on top of the laptop.

13. Put the laptop on a solid surface if you are using it for a long time. Resting it on a pillow or other soft material might block the airflow vents and cause it to overheat.

14. Recharge the battery each night. While charging, place it on a hard surface like the dining table or kitchen bench. Don’t charge it near water.

15. Unplug the laptop if there’s an electrical storm.

What is an earthquake? 
An earthquake is the sudden, rapid shaking or rolling of the Earth.  Earthquakes happen when rocks break or slip along fault lines in the Earth’s crust, releasing energy that causes the ground to move.

1. Earth has been more seismologically active in the past 15 years or so, says Stephen S. Gao, a geophysicist at Missouri University of Science & Technology. Not all seismologist agree, however.

2. San Francisco is moving toward Los Angeles at the rate of about 2 inches per year - the same pace as the growth of your fingernails - as the two sides of the San Andreas fault slip past one another. The cities will meet in several million years. However, this north-south movement also means that despite fears, California won't fall into the sea.

3. March is not earthquake month, despite what some people believe. True, on March 28, 1964, Prince William Sound, Alaska, experienced a 9.2 magnitude event - one of the biggest ever. It killed 125 people and caused $311 million in property damages. And on March 9, 1957, the Andrean of Islands, Alaska, felt a 9.1 temblor. But the next three biggest U.S. earthquakes occurred in February, November, and December. The devastating major earthquake in Chile of 2010 struck on Feb. 27. And the huge 9.3 temblor that spawned the devastating Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004 occurred on Dec. 26.

4. There are about 500,000 earthquakes a year around the world, as detected by sensitive instruments. About 100,000 of those can be felt, and 100 or so cause damage each year. Each year the southern California area alone experiences about 10,000 earthquakes, most of them not felt by people.

5. The sun and moon cause tremors. It's long been known that they create tides in the planet's crust, very minor versions of ocean tides. Now researchers say the tug of the sun and moon on the San Andreas Fault stimulates tremors deep underground.

6. A city in Chile moved 10 feet in the massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake Feb. 27, 2010. The rip in Earth's crust shifted the city of Concepcion that much to the west. The quake is also thought to have changed the planet's rotation slightly and shortened Earth's day.

7. There's no such thing as "earthquake weather." Statistically, there is an equal distribution of earthquakes in cold weather, hot weather, rainy weather, and so on, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Scientists say there is no physical way that weather could affect the forces several miles beneath the surface of the earth where quakes originate. The changes in barometric pressure in the atmosphere are very small compared to the forces in the crust, and the effect of the barometric pressure does not reach beneath the soil.

8. Earth's bulge was trimmed a little by the 2004 Indonesian earthquake, the 9.0+ temblor that generated the deadly tsunami on Dec. 26 that year. Earth's midsection bulges in relation to the measurement from pole-to-pole, and the catastrophic land displacement caused a small reduction in the bulge, making the planet more round.

9. The Pacific Ring of Fire is the most geologically active region of Earth. It circles the Pacific Ocean, touching the coasts North and South America, Japan, China and Russia. It's where the majority of Earth's major quakes occur as major plate boundaries collide.

10. Oil extraction can cause minor earthquakes. These are not the quakes you read about. Rather, because oil generally is found in soft and squishy sediment, when oil is removed other rock moves in to fill the void, creating "mini-seismic events" that are not noticeable to humans.

11. The largest earthquake ever recorded was a magnitude 9.5 in Chile on May 22, 1960.

12. Quakes on one side of Earth can shake the other side. Seismologists studying the massive 2004 earthquake that triggered killer tsunamis throughout the Indian Ocean found that the quake had weakened at least a portion of California's famed San Andreas Fault. The Chilean quake of 1960 shook the entire Earth for many days, a phenomenon called oscillation that was measured by seismic stations around the planet.

13. The deadliest earthquake ever struck January 23, 1556 in Shansi, China. Some 830,000 are estimated to have died.

14. Earthquakes cannot be predicted with accuracy.

15. Earthquakes may trigger other hazards, such as flooding, landslides, fires, or avalanches.  A large earthquake in the ocean floor can produce tsunami waves.
